Ronda Rousey: Social Media Helped Me Get This Job
Ronda Rousey’s 2012 fight with Miesha Tate is arguably one of the most historic fights in MMA history. But how did this clash of the titans come about? Turns out, Rousey started a one-woman social media campaign to get both Tate and the promoter’s attention. This is just one of the many topics candidly discussed on the High Performance Podcast. Nothing is off limits—from her family, to her amateur judo days, fighting through concussions before CTE was taken seriously, the impact of her father's suicide, and more. A must-listen if you’re looking for something emotional & inspiring.
Gary Vee: Cash In On Your Attention
“Every minute that you don’t spend on gathering more attention is a minute you’re potentially declining on your long-term opportunity. There’s a time to cash in on your attention. There’s time to do other things.”
Strong words from the CEO of Vaynermedia. But what social media platforms should you focus on? If you’re looking for specific advice on established players such as TikTok or Instagram, then you’ll be disappointed with this interview.

Vaynerchuk encourages you to look beyond the usual suspects and experiment with lesser-known platforms ripe for growth. He names Airchat and Reclip, but acknowledges that those focused on short-term video will continue to dominate. His boldest prediction? X/Twitter resurrects Vine, and goes head-to-head with TikTok OR scoops up their audience if (TikTok) is forced to exit the US market.

Content Marketer, producer, entrepreneur, educator, and author—these are some of the many roles comprising the career of today’s guest, Mohit Rajhans. But if the name sounds familiar, it’s probably because you’ve seen his work in front of the camera. Mohit’s eclectic career includes various reporting roles for the CBC, Breakfast Television, and OMNI Television—where he was Canada’s authority on Bollywood Cinema. Mohit Rajhans sits down to chat about his life growing up in Mississauga, attending an arts high school where he focused on the drama arts, his experience as a movie extra, and working as both an on-air talent and marketer. We’ll also get an interesting story about the time he was given an 11th hour opportunity to interview then Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper. The episode originally aired in May of 2021.
