Think being a media person starts and stops with an office job in a marketing department? Think again. Endorsement deals, personal branding, and dealing with the press—all while maintaining peak physical condition, are some of the challenges professional athletes endure. If you’re looking for a new book, then I highly recommend My Fight/Your Fight by Ronda Rousey. Ronda was the first US woman to win an Olympic medal in Judo, the UFC’s first female bantamweight champion, a WWE champion, and held supporting roles in The Expendables 3 and Fast 7. Rousey’s professional life is one of perseverance and success, but her personal life contains its share of tragedy. My Fight/Your Fight is available through Amazon, Indigo, or wherever you get your books.
